We support Children’s, Disability and Medical Research charities by mobilising funds from financial and corporate Australia whilst providing a valuable networking opportunity for our sponsors and participants. We aim to distribute $1 million dollars each year to charity. As we emerge from the restrictions on LIVE events in the past few years, we are encouraged by returning and new participants and look forward to supporting many charitable organisations in the years ahead. We engage and enhance the sponsorship, marketing and customer entertainment budgets of leading businesses distributing profits to charity through a number of major events.

Our Mission

At ASX Refinitiv Charity, our mission is to empower communities through financial education, support sustainable development, and make a positive impact on individuals’ lives. We are committed to fostering a culture of giving and collaboration by uniting corporations, charities, and individuals to address pressing social issues. Together, we aim to create lasting change and inspire others to contribute to a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

Our History

The ASX Group and Refinitiv (formerly Reuters/Thomson Reuters and now owned by London Stock Exchange Group) joined forces in 1999 to form a charity foundation with the objective of helping Australian-based children’s, disability and medical research, domestic violence and mental health charities by organising fundraising events in conjunction with the financial markets. To date, the combined funds distributed to a wide range of charities totals over $42 million.

Participation

Participants in the Golf Classic, Race Day and Sailing Regatta include top executives from financial and corporate Australia. The CEOs, Chairmen and Senior Executives of companies like ASX, LSEG, Nine, Commsec, S&P Dow Jones, Macquarie Bank, Air New Zealand, NAB, CITI, Macquarie Bank, Magellan, Seven, Foxtel and many others take part in the events and compete side by side in some of corporate Australia’s most anticipated and enjoyable events.

Sponsorships

Our events offer premium opportunities for companies to enhance brand awareness and support CSR strategies.

Sponsors are sought to cover as many of the costs as possible to maximise the amount distributed to the charities.

The Team

The Team is made up of Board Members, Independent Directors and Ambassadors who work tirelesly to ensure fundraising is achieved each year for its deserving charity recipients.
